– As ASM, I am responsible for our export sales to Finland, the Baltic States, Poland, and the Czech Republic. I act as a link between Huddig's factory and the dealers. I also keep my eyes open for potential new HUDDIG dealer HUDDIG new and existing markets.
VP grew up around excavators and other heavy construction machinery as his father was a contractor. He worked as a machine operator in the company for ten years.
- I understand what it feels like to spend 14-15 hours a day in an excavator and have your whole life tied to the business. That experience is important for me today in my contact with customers and gives me an understanding of their situation.
He finds his background in after-sales and technical support very helpful in dealing with customers.
- My experience in after-sales is of great value in my role today as I know the product inside out. By starting in sales, I created an understanding of what is important in purchasing. I can therefore better understand both sides of a deal.
The decision to work at Huddig is based on the fact that innovation is a strong driving force within the company. VP highly values the fact that Huddig offers new solutions for the entire machine industry, such as the HUDDIG full hybrid backhoe loader.

The electrification of the construction industry and construction machinery is a development that VP sees will happen in the future.
- I think there is a lot of important work to be done in terms of getting decision-makers to understand the importance of commissioning environmentally friendly services in construction projects. A significant shift will have to take place when hybrid and fully electric construction machinery enters the market. Sooner or later, a dialog on pricing will have to take place at a higher level.
In addition, VP looks forward to continuing to grow with existing dealer and working to expand Huddig's network of authorized dealer in Eastern Europe.
" HUDDIG can bring about a major change in the construction industry and increase efficiency and profitability for many companies. I am proud to be working with our dealer spreading the word about the unique versatility and power HUDDIG," concludes VP.
