This training ensures that you have the necessary knowledge to work safely with electric vehicles and understand the role and responsibilities of an electrical work supervisor when working on Huddig electric hybrid machines.

This course is designed for those who have worked for several years at an authorized Huddig dealer service partner and are currently employed as service technicians.

As part of this training, participants must also complete CPR training (using a manikin). dealer Service Partner is responsible for this, and it is conducted through local training providers.

Course Content

  • Provides basic and in-depth knowledge of electrical safety for electric vehicles and vehicle components.
  • Focus on understanding the risks associated with electricity and how to prevent them through safe work practices, procedures, and a clear division of responsibilities.
  • Risk assessment.
  • Covers basic electrical theory to explain the importance of voltage and current levels from a safety perspective.
  • Explains the difference between electrical and non-electrical work.
  • Overview of how risk analyses are conducted and how to ensure that vehicles are de-energized (proper power-up/power-down procedures).
  • Clarify the organization, roles, and responsibilities for electrical work.
  • Covers requirements for protective equipment, signage, and the design of safe workplaces.
  • Procedures for electrical accidents are reviewed.

This course is intended exclusively for Huddig’s registered dealer service partners and is available in both Swedish and English.

Course Objectives

As the person in charge of electrical work, you understand that you are responsible for personal safety during work on electric vehicles and are authorized to energize or de-energize electric vehicles. You know how to conduct a risk assessment before scheduled work and use the necessary protective equipment and take the measures required to ensure maximum safety.

Prerequisites

You must have completed Technology Level 1 and the White and Yellow Electrical Safety Training before taking this course.

Schedules

2-day training course: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Breakfast sandwich, lunch, and afternoon coffee are included.
