This training course is a refresher of the Electrical Safety Training – Level 3 Orange and Manager course, and is conducted approximately three years after the initial training session.
This course is intended for those who have worked as service technicians with Level 3 Orange Electrical Safety certification at a Huddig-authorized dealer service partner, as well as those who have completed the Electrical Safety Training – Manager course.
Course Content
- Review of basic electrical safety related to electric vehicles and their systems.
- Overview of electrical hazards such as electric shock, electric arcs, and fire, as well as preventive work practices and safety measures.
- Practical Electrical Engineering: Voltage, Current, Resistance, and Power, with a focus on critical limits in automotive work.
- Rules, responsibilities, organization, and roles for electrical work, including proper power-up and power-down procedures to ensure the vehicle is de-energized.
- Safe handling of electric vehicle batteries: labeling, storage, risks, and characteristics.
- Procedures for electrical accidents, including initial response and the importance of following internal instructions and documentation.
This course is intended exclusively for Huddig’s registered dealer service partners and is available in both Swedish and English.
Course Objectives
After completing this course, you will have refreshed your knowledge of electrical engineering, risk analysis, battery safety, and delegation procedures at Huddig to ensure maximum personal safety during electrical work. (The course is offered in both Swedish and English)
Prerequisites
You must have completed the Orange Electrical Safety Training or the Supervisor Training approximately three years ago, prior to this course.

6-hour training session: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
